Growing beauty
We love flowers and are thrilled to be part of your celebration. No matter what you want to say or what you're celebrating, we're here to help.
The Posy Yard is an urban micro flower farm and florist in Preston, Victoria. Our days are filled with growing, harvesting, and delivering beauty around Melbourne.
You’ve likely got your own memories about flowers. It might be playing with snapdragons in Nan’s front garden. It might be the smell of daffodils on a spring day, or the gaudy glads of the 1980’s. Flowers have the power to transport us back to a specific moment in time, and we’re on a mission to help you create your own memories.
Whether you’re looking for a go-to florist to deliver flowers throughout Melbourne, or wanting someone to bring your wedding floral vision to life – you’re in the right place!
Hi, I'm Kristi
I'm the owner and chief grower here at The Posy Yard. I've always enjoyed growing veggies but took the plunge into growing flowers in my front yard in 2019 after learning about the lack of Australian-grown flowers available to the market.

Since then, I've developed an obsession with floristry, as well learning about the endless options of cut flower varieties available to grow. I'm excited to be expanding my growing space in 2023 with my lovely neighbour allowing me to rent his backyard to build new beds.

When I'm not filling the kitchen (my default studio space) with flowers, you'll find me hanging out with my partner, 2 kids, and gorgeous dog Monty. Or eating chocolate.

If you're ever heading down Gilbert Road in Preston be sure to stop by, say hi, and take a peek at the front garden that started it all!
