DIY Flowers
Affordable event & wedding flowers
If you've got a special event coming up, our DIY flower buckets let you create your own display in your own style.
Our grower's choice buckets include in-season focal and secondary flowers, filler, and foliage - we'll pick the best of what's available, ready for you to design and create.

Each bucket comes with between 40 and 60 stems, roughly enough for 4 or 6 small jar arrangements, 1 bridal bouquet (with a few spares), or 2-3 bridesmaid bouquets.
How do DIY flowers work?
Our buckets are a grower's choice selection of flowers - and we always pick what's looking the best on the day of harvest. Let us know if you have a specific colour palette and/or style in mind.

While we can give you an idea of what flowers are likely to be in season for your event, it is difficult to guarantee specific flowers for your order as we're a farm and sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! You're more than welcome to let us know if there is anything in particular that you like (or don't); we'll be sure to do our best to include those if we can.

How many arrangements can I make?
Each bucket comes with roughly 50 stems, roughly enough for five small jar arrangements, 1 bridal bouquet (with a few spares), or 2-3 bridesmaid bouquets.
Our goal is to provide all the florals for your order, but on the odd occasion, we may need to source from other farmers. We always aim to work with farmers and suppliers who share the same values and commitment to sustainable & regenerative farming principles so you can expect the same high-quality product.
Considerations
We love DIY flower buckets. Many couples love the idea of adding a DIY element to their wedding - whether to find a more affordable option or let their creativity shine. And doing your own florals is one such way.

However, it's worth taking some time to think about the overall logistics of your event to make sure you have the support and time to pull it off!

Read through our list below to decide whether or not DIYing your wedding flowers is the right path for you.
-
Who can help you create your bouquets and arrangements? This could be a fun way to get your bridal party together the day before!
-
If you haven't had experience working with flowers, there are some basic tools and techniques to look into.
-
Weddings can be time-consuming - especially on the day! Will you have friends and family on hand who can help you set everything up on the day?
-
Flowers should be picked up no more than three days before your wedding and stored in a cool, dark place in fresh water until you're ready to use them. Do you have storage space available to keep everything fresh?
-
Does your wedding venue have storage if you need to deliver
-
How early can you get into your venue to start setting up? Always double-check venue requirements for setting up - many will require you to hold Public Liability Insurance.
-
What about packing down after the wedding? Will your venue let you come back the next day or does everything need to be out of the space on the same night?
