How far in advance should I place my order?

Accepted Answer

At least three weeks before your date. The earlier the better — since we grow our own flowers, more lead time means better planning for what's in season. If you're working to a tighter timeline, email us at hello@theposyyard.com and we'll let you know what's possible.

What if I want something not on on the menu?

Accepted Answer

The online menu is intentionally curated. If you need something larger, more complex, or want a bespoke design process, our full-service package is the better fit. Fill out the enquiry form and we'll take it from there.

Can I pick my items up?

Accepted Answer

We prefer to deliver so the flowers arrive in the best possible condition. Delivery starts from $160 depending on location, or you can add delivery and set-up, which includes up to two hours on-site.

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Yes — delivery can be added as an option from the menu for $160 up to an 80km radius from Reservoir. If your delivery address is beyond get in touch so we can provide a personalised rate.

Can I ask for specific flowers in my order?

Accepted Answer

We can't guarantee specific varieties since we work with what's genuinely in season and field-grown. You're welcome to include a wishlist with your order and we'll do our best — but we design around what's at its best for your date, not a fixed shopping list.

Can you recreate an image if I send you an inspiration photo?

Accepted Answer

You're welcome to include a Pinterest board or reference images when you place your order. We use them as a guide to the feeling and style you're after — not a blueprint to recreate exactly. Every arrangement is designed in our own hand, using what's genuinely in season.

Can we organise a phone or face-to-face consultation?

The online menu is designed to be self-guided, with minimal back and forth. We're happy to answer questions via email, but we don't offer bespoke consultations or proposals through this service. If you're after that level of detail, our full-service package is the right fit — enquire here.

When can I expect my flowers to be delivered?

Accepted Answer

We'll confirm delivery details with you the week of your wedding. If we're delivering, we'll ask for your photographer's arrival time so we can coordinate the schedule. For DIY buckets, delivery no more than three days before is ideal — keep them in a cool, dark spot until you're ready to start.
